Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly set their sights on Eintracht Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush.
Spurs have been fairly busy in the January transfer window and, with deadline day looming, they may not be finished yet.
Although Tottenham have been linked with midfielders of late, a report from BILD – via Sport.de – suggests Spurs are still eyeing attacking reinforcements.
The report claims that Tottenham are ‘already looking’ into Marmoush’s performances after impressing following his free transfer from Stuttgart last summer.
Marmoush has registered 12 goals and three assists from 25 club outings in all competitions this term.

In addition, the 24-year-old is a regular for Egypt and played at this year’s Africa Cup of Nations as the Pharaohs went out in the last 16.
Eintracht apparently value Marmoush at around €30million, or around £26million. His contract runs until the summer of 2027.
As well as Spurs, Newcastle are apparently also keeping tabs on the former Wolfsburg ace.
Tottenham target Omar Marmoush is ‘hard to defend against’
Although Tottenham have already bolstered their attacking ranks with Timo Werner, there’s still scope to at least keep tabs on other options for the future.
As per the official Eintracht website, Marmoush has ‘picked up many of the facets of his game from Egypt’s superstar Mohamed Salah, who he names as his biggest idol.’
They also quote the reported Tottenham target as saying: “When I watch him, I can learn a lot.”
Meanwhile, the Bundesliga website has compared Marmoush’s style of play to Hoffenheim and Croatia ace Andrej Kramaric.
“He works extremely hard and is hard to defend against,” they quote Frankfurt head coach Dino Toppmoller as saying.
“His pace makes him an akward opponent for defenders when he runs in behind them. I like that he is very diligent and always listens. His goals are a reward for his effort.”
Let’s see what happens over the next 30 or so hours. A new forward is certainly not a priority for Spurs right now, but still, deadline day can throw up plenty of surprises.
