Spurs are currently on the lookout for players to bolster their ranks ahead of next season.
And one position where Tottenham really need more strength in depth is up front.
As good as Harry Kane is, Spurs need to recruit another good striker to share goalscoring responsibilities.
Tottenham recruited Fabio Paratici earlier this summer following his efforts at sourcing top players for Juventus.

Therefore, it’s unsurprising to see him – and Spurs – linked with players based in Italy.
According to The Telegraph, Paratici has his eyes on two strikers from the peninsula.
One of those is Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic, and the other is Crotone’s Simeon Tochukwu Nwankwo, also known as Simy.
While Vlahovic is one of Serie A’s standout forwards and has been linked with Spurs for some time now, Simy might’ve gone under the radar.
But the 29-year-old would certainly be a good shout for Tottenham, considering his price tag, credentials, and talent.

Spurs eyeing 20-goal colossus?
Simy scored 20 goals and picked up three assists from 38 Serie A games last season.
This would be a great feat in itself, but even more so when you consider Crotone suffered relegation, shipping 92 goals in the process.
Standing a mighty 6ft 6in, Simy is a dominant presence on the pitch and a top targetman and finisher.

However, he also does his bit to set up his teammates – Whoscored lists layoffs, flick-ons and short passes as his strengths.
And given Crotone’s relegation and a £18k-a-week contract which expires in 2022, Simy isn’t going to be particularly expensive.
Indeed, Own Goal Nigeria claimed in May that Simy has a price tag of just 8m euro, or around £6.8million.
For that price, Spurs should certainly gamble on bringing the experienced striker to N17 as cover for Kane.
