Spurs are on the verge of making a new signing, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Tottenham have been heavily linked with Metz midfielder Pape Matar Sarr in recent weeks.
Now, it looks as though they’re about to get their man, according to Romano and other sources.

The likes of Sky Sports and Get French Football News have claimed Tottenham are on the home straight.
On Tuesday afternoon, Romano tweeted that Spurs have “completed all details of the agreement” for Sarr.
Tottenham are reportedly set to pay an initial €15million (around £12.8million) plus add-ons.
Romano also said it’s “paperworks time now” between all parties, and has also been told that Sarr is a “huge, huge talent”.
As part of the deal, the teenage prodigy will spend the remainder of the season on loan at Metz.
Spurs target Sarr – the story so far
Sarr, a box-to-box midfielder, has been with Metz for less than a year, but has made waves at the French club.
He joined last September from Senegal-based Generation Foot, penning a five-year deal.
Sarr began in Metz’s reserve team but finished the season with 25 first-team appearances and four goals.
In addition, the teenager has already won two caps for the Senegal senior team.

PSG ace and international teammate Idrissa Gueye is a big fan of Sarr.
“He’s my type of player, I admire him a lot, loads of talent,” Get French Football News quotes him as saying.
“He’s the future of Senegal.”

While Spurs fans won’t get to see Sarr in action for them just yet, they should be excited about having got him on their books.
Manchester United were reportedly eyeing him as well, so we’re talking about a youngster of the highest calibre.
Tottenham are recruited well so far this summer, and Sarr would definitely be a great addition for the future.
Spurs fans will be eager to see how he gets on for Metz this season.
