Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min has admitted he’s “scared” to play against Spurs teammate Cristian Romero in training.

The Tottenham ace was speaking to Spider-Man star and Spurs fan Tom Holland ahead of the launch of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Tottenham shared the video on their Twitter feed.

Holland asked Son to compare his N17 teammates – and himself – to Marvel Avengers based on their traits.

The 25-year-old actor got to Hulk and read his card: “Physically one of the strongest beings in the Marvel universe.

“His strength is debatedly limitless growing with his level of emotional distress.

“He prefers to run straight into battle terrifying his opponents – he’s also green. Hulk smash.”

“Really gets stuck in”

Son said jokingly “definitely me”, before suggesting Harry Kane.

Holland then said Romero “really gets stuck in”.

The Spurs star replied: “Oh yeah, that’s actually a good choice.

“He really gets stuck in; I’m scared to play against him!”

It’s little surprise to see Romero earn comparisons with Hulk – after all, he is a big, talented, no-nonsense centre-back.

He is a Copa America winner with Argentina and was 2021 Serie A defender of the year with Atalanta.

Romero has certainly done well for Spurs since his arrival in the summer.

Sadly for Tottenham, he’s currently on the sidelines with a long-term injury, and is a big miss for Antonio Conte.

Could Spurs look to bolster their defensive ranks further in January? There’s certainly scope for it.
