Southampton fans have been reacting to a report that has linked the club with a move for Theo Walcott.
TEAMtalk has claimed the Saints have been asked if they would consider re-signing the 31-year-old, who is firmly on the fringes at Everton.
Walcott’s future at the club is currently a bit up in the air, with James Rodriguez having dazzled since arriving from Real Madrid.

The ex-Arsenal forward has not pulled up any trees since moving to the club for a reported £20 million in January 2018, and it could be that he moves before tomorrow’s deadline.
The Saints are said to have asked about an emotional return to the club, which he left for the Gunners back in 2006.
If Southampton do want to land Walcott, they may have to beat the likes of West Ham United, Newcastle United, Fulham and Crystal Palace, all of whom have been named in the report.
Walcott – who cost the Toffees a reported £20 million (BBC Sport) – has a decent Premier League record; in 347 games he has scored 75 goals and made 57 assists.

There is a feel of the player perhaps needing a new lease of life given how sparingly he has been used so far in 2020/21.
Southampton fans on social media were fairly split about the idea of Walcott coming back to the club:
