Southampton reached the fourth round of the FA Cup after goals by Daniel Nlundulu and James Ward-Prowse secured a 2-0 win over Shrewsbury Town.
It was the performance of young starlet Nlundulu who caught the eye, with supporters raving about his display on Twitter.
The 21-year-old has made eight appearances this season and now has his first goal for the Saints to his name.
Nlundulu was one of several academy players in the squad last night, as Ralph Hasenhuttl’s team took on League One opposition.

The talented centre forward has scored five goals for the Saints under-23 ranks this season – including a brilliant hat-trick against Manchester City.
Hasenhuttl’s men are ticking along nicely this season.
His team are ninth in the league and will undoubtedly be eyeing a place in Europe for next season.
Plenty of talented players are emerging through the youth ranks and the first-team squad also boasts plenty of quality.
It will give the academy stars a big boost that Hasenhuttl seemingly takes the mindset of handing opportunities to future stars.
Last night’s performance by Nlundulu was extremely impressive and he’ll now hope for a first Premier League start.
