Oriol Romeu completed 90 minutes in the win over Leicester City on Saturday – and many Southampton fans on Twitter hailed him for his performance.
The 27-year-old has forced his way back into the team under manager Ralph Hasenhuttl and appears to be back to his best.
The Saints managed to earn an impressive 2-1 victory at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League, which moved the club up to 16th in the table.
They scored two first-half goals through James Ward-Prowse and Shane Long, but did have defender Jan Valery sent off too.
Southampton managed to hold on for the three points in the second-half and showed a real defensive steel.
They will now look to continue steering away from relegation danger, as they host Everton in their next league match at St Mary’s.

Romeu was a key part of the 10 men who held on for a vital three league points and a selection of fans on social media singled him out for praise.
The defensive midfielder can be a rock in front of the backline when he’s on form and after a small blip appears to be regaining his confidence again.
