Son starts as unchanged Tottenham face Newcastle
Tottenham unchanged for Newcastle trip despite illness fears.
Tottenham travel to Newcastle today to take on the Geordies.
The home crowd will be electric for this game seeing as it’s their first since their takeover.
However, Tottenham will be looking to spoil the party.
Nuno Espirito Santo has named his side for the game and it’s got some shocks in it.
It was reported on Friday that Spurs had two unnamed players struck with Covid (Football.London).
However, the club released a statement claiming that these were false positives.

Regardless, Tottenham’s lineup is as follows.
Hugo Lloris takes up his usual place in goal.
A back four of Emerson Royal, Eric Dier, Cristian Romero and Sergio Reguilon starts.
In midfield a pivot of Oliver Skipp and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg start behind a three of Heung-Min Son, Tanguy Ndombele and Lucas Moura
Then, up front as usual, Harry Kane starts as he looks for his first Premier League goal of the season.
This is a strong lineup from Spurs and Nuno clearly isn’t willing to try and fix what isn’t broken.
A win against Newcastle will take the Lilywhites as high as 5th after Manchester United lost to Leicester yesterday.
However, this team still has to put in the work and earn the three points
It certainly won’t be an easy game, especially owing to what will be a highly charged Newcastle crowd.
A chance to spoil the party is one that this Tottenham team cannot pass up, though.
It’s also crucial that Spurs carry on the momentum they picked up from beating Aston Villa before the break.
