Spurs fans were left reeling last night after exiting the Europa League and were even more taken aback with Hugo Lloris’ brutal interview following the game.

Speaking after Spurs surrendered a two goal lead to bow out of Europe, Lloris essentially called out members of the squad, criticising the culture at the club and questioning the trust between teammates.

It was an honest and cut-throat assessment by Lloris, who was clearly fuming at what he perceives to be a lack of togetherness in the Spurs squad.

Jose Mourinho’s post-match interview was also similar. The next few days could be big for the club, then, with a tricky weekend clash at Aston Villa to prepare for.
