West Ham United have now won three games on the bounce in the Premier League. It is the first time they have achieved that feat since December 2016. The Hammers picked up a 3-2 win against Crystal Palace in a game they trailed 1-0 at half-time.
It was a great turnaround from West Ham. Several players again impressed. Felipe Anderson was the spark once again, whilst Declan Rice was superb in midfield. But Andy Carroll also made a big difference. With Lucas Perez coming off with a stud puncture in his foot the experienced striker came on at half-time.
The former England star caused Palace all manner of different problems to the ones previously posed by the very similar Perez and Javier Hernandez. Indeed, he won the free-kick from which Hernandez fired home a typical poachers finish.

It was only Carroll’s second appearance of the season. Carroll had been out of action after ankle surgery in the summer, the latest in a long line of injury issues for the 29-year-old striker.
But he again showed today that, when fit, he can bring a different threat to the West Ham attack.
It was a point not lost on plenty of West Ham fans, pleased to see he made an impact for the Hammers…
