Some West Ham fans wowed by 'generational' 19-year-old's display last night

West Ham fans have been raving about Armstrong Okoflex following his display for the Hammers Under-21s on Tuesday.

The 19-year-old joined West Ham in June on a free transfer, penning a two-year deal at the London Stadium after leaving Celtic.

Okoflex had already made two senior appearances for the Scottish side, testament to his talent and potential.

The Irishman got his West Ham career underway with a hat-trick in the 6-1 thrashing of Arsenal in the Premier League 2.

And on Tuesday, he helped the Hammers Under-21s get their EFL Trophy campaign underway with a 2-1 win at Ipswich.

The hosts took the lead early on through James Norwood, but Keenan Forson equalised on 12 minutes.

Neither side could be separated until one minute from time, when Okoflex rifled home from the penalty spot.
