West Ham United continued their pre-season schedule with an impressive win over Scottish giants Celtic.

It was an afternoon to remember for the east London side. Performances from Said Benrahma, Mark Noble and Pablo Fornals carved the Glasgow club to pieces.

Yet the star man on the day was easily Michail Antonio. The new West Ham number 9 scored two and assisted another as the Irons ran out 6-2 winners at Celtic Park.

The former Nottingham Forest star still remains the Hammers only option at striker heading into the new season. However, Antonio’s pre-season form has been nothing but impressive for David Moyes’ side.

Moreover, fans on social media were delighted that the £70,000-a-week star was hitting top form before the start of the campaign.

With West Ham competing in the UEFA Europa League group stage, there are expectations for the Hammers to build on from their success from last season.
