Some West Ham United fans have been reacting on social media to reports by UOL, which claimed the Irons value Felipe Anderson at £12.9million ahead of the winger’s return from Porto.

The Liga NOS giants have no intention of pursuing a deal to sign Anderson permanently in the summer transfer window, having proven to be a complete disaster since joining Sergio Conceicao’s side on loan.

Anderson has made just nine appearances across all competitions since securing a last-ditch deal in October, with his last league outing coming in February before the 28-year-old was omitted from 11 of Conceicao’s following 15 matchday squads.

But West Ham see no future for Anderson back at the London Stadium, either, and have made their former £36m (BBC) club-record signing available for a move away at just £12.9m, as the winger enters the final year of his £85,000-per-week (Spotrac) contract next month.

Anderson is aware that his future lies away from Porto or the Irons, and is waiting to receive offers with a return to Italy muted for the former Lazio forward who spent five seasons in the Serie A before being targeted by Manuel Pellegrini.

Here’s how these West Ham fans reacted to their side’s rumoured asking price to sell Anderson this summer…
