Some West Ham supporters have had enough of Michail Antonio.
The utility man was selected to start by Manuel Pellegrini for the Carabao Cup match on Wednesday and played the full 90 minutes against Tottenham Hotspur at the London Stadium.
Antonio has struggled this season to convince Hammers fans of his worth after a severe dip in form, and he did not fare well against Spurs.
Antonio was extremely poor for the home side, failing to cause any real problems for the Tottenham defence.
He struggled to control the ball on a number of occasions, was wasteful with the few chances he got and appeared clumsy and unbalanced.
Antonio future in doubt after Spurs shocker?
The Englishman could well face being sold after such a poor display.
The fact is, it hasn’t been his first this season.
It really has been a fall from grace for Antonio, who was a huge threat a couple of seasons ago, especially in the air.
Arguably his versatility stopped Pellegrini from selling him in the summer, but he is doing little to justify the decision to keep him at the moment.
The performance against Spurs feels like the beginning of the end for the player, who has enjoyed a decent three seasons with the Hammers.
West Ham fans react
Some West Ham fans really couldn’t believe the performance of Antonio, and took to social media to make their feelings known:
I think it’s safe to say that’s the end of Michail Antonio’s West Ham career. Really don’t see what Pellegrini see’s in him after that.
No pace. No touch. Can’t pass. Can’t shoot. No strength. Can’t win a ball. Can’t dribble.
The only thing he does well is fall over his feet.

I can’t ever remember a pro footballer declining so fast and so badly.
He looks like when you playing Sunday league and short of players and get your mate that only plays rugby to play to make up numbers 😂

I remember our fan base turning our noses up at signing Traore from m’boro cause we had Antonio 🤦🏻♂️

There is nothing he can do. Put to much mussel on and now he can’t even run properly. Shame as he was really good 2 years ago ☹

I miss 2016 Michail Antonio. The 2018 version is just awful. Hate to moan about our own players but he has regressed massively #whufc

Fastest I see @Michailantonio move was getting off the pitch at the end of the match. Liability. Sell him to palace.
