Some West Ham fans drool over Rice after England's Euro 2020 victory

Some West Ham fans were lauding Declan Rice for his performance in England’s win over Germany.

The midfielder faced a torrid start to the game, vacating his midfield space within two minutes and fouling Leon Goretzka just outside the box. He even earned himself a yellow card inside the opening 10 minutes of the clash.

However, the Irons midfielder steadily improved as he helped the Three Lions pull off a shock win.

The 22-year-old made more tackles and interceptions than any one of Gareth Southgate’s team.

He ended the game with the second-highest pass accuracy rating of any Three Lions player.
