A number of West Bromwich Albion fans have given their thoughts on the speculation linking the Baggies with Switzerland international Haris Seferovic.

According to the Express & Star, West Brom boss Sam Allardyce is keen on the 28-year-old, who plies his trade for Portuguese giants Benfica.

Seferovic has been in great form this season, registering seven goals and three assists in 11 Primeira Liga appearances, as well as three more goals in the Taca de Portugal.

In addition, Benfica are reportedly looking to sell players this month, although Albion only have the funds to sign a forward on loan with a view to a permanent transfer.

Although the move is deemed “unlikely” by the outlet, both clubs are believed to be in talks over the player.

Capped 66 times for his nation, Seferovic has had a fairly nomadic career, having started his career in Switzerland and also playing in Italy, Germany and Spain.

He’s not exactly known for great pace or prolific goalscoring, but he has a good touch, links play well and generally works well with his back to goal.

“Seferovic is a full-blooded center forward who moves very well,” former Switzerland coach Ottmar Hitzfeld said of his player during the 2014 World Cup (Reuters).

“He also has the physique to compete against robust opponents.”

But what have West Brom fans made of the speculation?
