‘Some turnaround’: Leeds fans praise Stuart Dallas for improved form

Stuart Dallas helped Leeds United secure a vital 1-0 win away to Sheffield United on Saturday afternoon – and some of the club’s supporters hailed him for his performance.

The Whites secured a narrow victory on the road at Bramall Lane, as they picked up three points to temporarily move top of the Championship table.

Pablo Hernandez scored the winning goal late in the second-half, as young Jack Clarke pounced on a shocking mistake from goalkeeper Dean Henderson to tee up his teammate for an open goal.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side have now won three consecutive matches and are beginning to look like real promotion contenders.

Leeds will be concerned that captain Liam Cooper was forced off with an injury in the first-half, but it’s not the first time they have had to deal with setbacks in their squad this season.

Injuries to Luke Ayling and Gaetano Berardi this campaign mean that Dallas has stepped into an unfamiliar full-back role.

The 27-year-old has predominately been a winger during his career, but has now managed to nail down his position at right-back in recent games and is beginning to excel in the role.

A selection of Whites fans singled him out after another positive display against Sheffield United and feel the Northern Ireland international is making massive improvements.
