Some Tottenham fans want to see a right-back risk against Brighton

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have called on Mauricio Pochettino to take a risk at right-back against Brighton this weekend.

Spurs travel to the south coast to take on the Seagulls in the Premier League, with Graham Potter’s side without a win since the opening day.

The north Londoners will be seeking to banish the memories of the midweek Champions League humiliation against Bayern Munich by getting three points at the Amex Stadium, ideally with a convincing performance.

Pochettino has some thinking to do ahead of the game, with Serge Aurier having been sent off last weekend against Southampton.

The Ivorian full-back will be suspended for one league game, and Spurs fans have been discussing potential replacements on social media.

The natural replacement would of course be Kyle Walker-Peters, but the young Englishman appears not to be the top choice to replace Aurier.

Tottenham fans discuss

A number of Tottenham fans would seemingly rather see either Moussa Sissoko or Eric Dier come in to deputise ahead of young Englishman Walker-Peters.

There were some shouts for Juan Foyth, but the Argentine may not be fit in time for the clash:
