Some Tottenham fans react to Wylan Cyprien transfer reports

Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to reports linking the club with a potential £20 million move for Nice midfielder Wylan Cyprien.

According to The Daily Mail, Newcastle want to sign the 24-year-old but the north Londoners are also apparently interested.

Spurs are lacking options in midfield at the moment, with Moussa Sissoko ruled out until April with injury and Tanguy Ndombele also proving to be particularly fragile.

There is also heavy speculation that Christian Eriksen will leave the club this month to join Inter Milan.

The club have officially signed Gedson Fernandes on loan, but that hasn’t stopped links to Cyprien being formed.

The former France U21 international has just 18 months left on his contract, and could cost around £20 million.

Cyprien has been a mainstay in the Nice starting XI this term, appearing in all but one game so far for Patrick Vieira.

Whether Arsenal legend Vieira would allow the club to sell to Tottenham remains to be seen.
