Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama has emerged as a potential transfer target for Turkish giants Fenerbahce.

According to Fanatik, the Super Lig side want the Kenya international with director of football Damien Comoli – once of Spurs of course – keen for talks.

The £11 million signing from Southampton (BBC Sport) has struggled to be a regular for the club in recent years thanks to various injuries.

In the last two seasons, he has made just 31 Premier League appearances, and the club have now gone and signed Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon in a club-record deal, which is sure to limit his opportunities going forwards.

Former Celtic star Wanyama was a force alongside Mousa Dembele, but arguably now faces an uncertain future, even if he himself is set on staying at the club (via ESPN).

Fenerbahce are looking to strengthen their squad significantly this summer having finished a disappointing sixth in the league last term – meaning they missed out on a place in Europe.
