Some Tottenham Hotspur fans were turning on the club after their latest announcement to have supporter representation on the club’s board.
In a statement on the club’s website, the outfit apologised for their involvement in the European Super League as well as announced plans to introduce key stakeholders from amongst the fanbase on to a club advisory panel.
It’s a plan which rivals that of fellow London club Chelsea, who announced last week that they would be introducing fan representation at board meetings.
However, the Lilywhites went one step further and criticised the Tottenham Hotspur Supporter’s Trust for failing to take up the club’s offer for a board-to-board meeting.
The move comes a week from the day Spurs welcome fans back into their stadium for the team’s clash against Aston Villa.

It’s all well and good having fan representation on the board and somewhat part of the decision-making process, however, you can’t help but feel as though it’s a bit of a PR move following the failed European Super League dibcle.
