Some Tottenham Hotspur fans were reacting after the a report emerged of their chase of Jules Kounde.
According to ABC, the Sevilla centre-half wants to play Champions League football next season. He’s also of interest to Manchester United and Real Madrid.
However, the report did claim that the centre-half is likely to ‘abandon’ the Seville-based outfit.
It’s a blow for the Lilywhites, who according to Fabrizio Romano, were in talks with the 22-year-old. He was Nuno Espirito Santo’s ‘first target’ upon arrival at Spurs.
The ace was dumped out of Euro 2020 after France’s penalty shoot-out loss to Switzerland. He started just one game for Les Blues during the whole tournament.
