A number of Spurs fans reckon Daniel Sturridge would be a good shout to join Tottenham now the transfer window has closed.
The north Londoners bolstered their ranks over the summer, with Pierluigi Gollini, Emerson Royal, Cristian Romero and Bryan Gil joining.
Pape Matar Sarr has also signed for Spurs, though he’ll remain on loan at Metz this season.

However, Tottenham remain with just one senior centre-forward on their books – Harry Kane.
With the transfer window now shut, clubs can now only sign free agents – and Sturridge is currently without a club.
The 32-year-old boasts an impressive CV, having played for the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool.
He also has a Premier League, two Champions League medals and two FA Cups to his name.

Sadly, injury issues have hampered Sturridge’s career in the past few years.
However, some Spurs fans reckon he could still do a job as a back-up for Kane:
Sturridge recently sang Son Heung-min’s praises, saying the Spurs man is one of his favourite players.
