Some Spurs fans reckon Bryan Gil would be a good shout to start against Chelsea this Sunday.

Tottenham have a quick turnaround in games, taking on the Premier League title candidates three days after their Europa Conference League clash.

Spurs drew 2-2 at Rennes on Thursday night, but Nuno Espirito Santo could now have two more players on the sidelines.

Lucas Moura and Stephen Bergwijn had to be substituted at Roazhon Park and it’s unclear whether they’ll be fit for Chelsea.

Tottenham were also without Son Heung-min, Eric Dier and Ryan Sessegnon for Thursday’s game.

Cristian Romero, Davinson Sanchez and Giovani Lo Celso are still in Croatia but will reportedly be back in the country on Saturday.

Gil played through the centre on Thursday but is more of a winger by trade, so he looks likely to take one of the spots on the flanks.

He’s got loads of potential and delivered a decent, promising display against Rennes.
