Spurs talent is going to be “phenomenal” – Mourinho
Scarlett is one of the most highly rated youngsters at Spurs.
Last season, the 17-year-old scored 25 goals in just 24 appearances at age level.
Scarlett also made his Tottenham senior debut, featuring once in the Premier League and twice in the Europa League.
Former Spurs boss Jose Mourinho rated the young striker very highly.
“I know he’s still very young, just 17, and it’s probably too early for the next World Cup, but Tottenham have a striker in Dane Scarlett, who, if everything goes well, is going to be phenomenal,” he told The Times.
