Some Spurs fans react as 18-year-old opens account on loan, goal apparently ‘fantastic’

A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to praise Troy Parrott after the Spurs academy ace opened his scoring account for loan club Millwall on Tuesday.

The Lions were in action against National League side Bromley FC in a pre-season friendly at Calmont Road, running out 5-1 winners.

Jed Wallace opened the scoring for Millwall before Parrott netted what manager Gary Rowett described to the club media team post-match as a “fantastic finish”.

Connor Mahoney, Ryan Leonard and Matt Smith also got on the scoresheet for the Southeast Londoners.

As reported by News at Den, the Spurs loanee played the first half of the encounter, and was deployed as a No. 9.

On Wednesday, Millwall’s Twitter account shared images of Parrott in action, with the caption “on target”.
