A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have given their thoughts on news of Giovani Lo Celso withdrawing from the Argentina squad due to injury.
According to an injury update issued by the Argentine Football Association (AFA) on Tuesday, the 24-year-old suffered a left thigh issue during training at Tottenham.
Lo Celso was unable to take part in a team session on Monday, and will be returning to Spurs for further assessments.

The £70,000-a-week ace has missed several Tottenham matches this season due to the same problem, and it remains to be seen whether it’s a serious injury or the withdrawal is precautionary.
With Spurs having just come through a nightmarishly congested fixture list, the likes of Lo Celso staying put instead of featuring for their national teams is by no means a bad thing.
Indeed, some Tottenham fans on social media were pleased with his withdrawal, albeit hoping it’s not serious:
Lo Celso joined Spurs from Real Betis in the summer of 2019, initially on loan before being signed permanently in January.
He has made 42 competitive appearances for Tottenham in all competitions, registering four goals and three assists.
