A number of Spurs fans have called for the club to recall Pape Matar Sarr immediately from his Metz spell.
The Tottenham summer signing celebrated his 19th birthday on Tuesday, and Spurs wished him a happy birthday on Twitter.
Plenty of Tottenham fans wished Sarr well, while others were eager for him to return to N17 and play for them instead.

According to Goal.com, Tottenham paid an initial £13million which could increase to £25.5million with add-ons.
However, Sarr won’t be coming to Spurs until next summer as he’s continuing his development at Metz.
And there haven’t been any reports suggesting there’s a recall clause in the deal.
But given how many problems Tottenham have in midfield right now, there’s desire for Sarr to return.
Here’s what some Spurs fans have been saying on Twitter:
Sarr, a box-to-box midfielder, had been with Metz for less than a year, but quickly made waves at the French club.
He joined last September from Senegal-based Generation Foot, penning a five-year deal.
Sarr began in Metz’s reserve team but finished the season with 25 first-team appearances and four goals.
This season, he has made five Ligue 1 appearances for Metz, registering one assist.
In addition, Sarr has already won two caps for Senegal.
