Some Southampton fans drool over Walker-Peters after Crystal Palace performance

Some Southampton fans were lauding Kyle Walker-Peters after the right-back’s performance in the 3-1 win over Crystal Palace yesterday.

The former Tottenham defender was in superb form for the south coast outfit, making the joint-second most tackles and putting in the third-most crosses during the encounter.

His performances this campaign have drawn praise from all angles with former Aston Villa star Lee Hendrie claiming he would’ve taken the player before his move at St Mary’s Stadium.

The youngster moved to the south coast from Spurs on an initial loan spell back in January 2020, however, made his move permanent last summer.

Since he joined the club, Walker-Peters has gone from strength to strength under the management of Ralph Hasenhuttl.

His all-round game has improved with the ace ensuring the Lilywhites regretted their decision to let the 24-year-old leave last summer.
