Eh what? Comfortably one of the best set piece takers available and he’s going to be chopped?— Dan Huntley (@danhunt82) May 31, 2021
So one of the best free kick takers and a solid passer gets dropped clueless or what, he would of been one to watch in the euros— Paul Harris (@PaulHar18721461) May 31, 2021
Hahahahahaha southgates lost the plot— Lewis (@salisuszn) May 31, 2021
Lol, given how reliant England were on set pieces at the World Cup this seems extremely silly. Don't really warm to JWP and find the enjoyment our fans get from his wind up merchant antics quite unedifying, but he deserves to go imo. Good for us if he gets a rest tho. https://t.co/g2IPEC4HVf— Tom Williams (@shirleymush) May 31, 2021
Yet he takes bang average Phillips, absolute joke, another major competition of taking players from big clubs instead of players on form, yet we wonder why we never win tournaments🤦♂️ https://t.co/hAxniXp8Ck— Mitchell Rankin (@MRankin8_) May 31, 2021
