Some Rangers fans react to performance of Bongani Zungu in 4-0 win
Rangers defeated Falkirk 4-0 in the Scottish League Cup with Jermain Defoe, Calvin Bassey, Borna Barisic and James Tavernier on the scoresheet for Steven Gerrard’s team.
It was a routine victory for the Gers who were in cruise control after Defoe’s opening goal after just six minutes of the contest.
The Light Blues played superbly well and one man who did have an afternoon to remember was midfielder Bongani Zungu.
The South African midfielder enjoyed a stunning afternoon in the middle of the park and looks an excellent signing.

Zungu is on loan from Amiens and is looking like a shrewd piece of business by boss Gerrard.
He was instrumental from the engine room as Rangers romped to victory against lower league opposition.
The 28-year-old could be the ace in Gerrard’s pack as the season progresses. Here he showcases a decent passing range, intelligent marshalling of the back four and was also strong in the tackle.
Following the contest, Rangers supporters took to Twitter to rave about the player who is settling into Scottish football just nicely.
Supporters were delighted with his showing and heaped praise on him afterwards.
Here is what fans are saying about Zungu’s latest showing.

Zungu could be smoking a cigar in this one. The man does not look out of place at all.
