Rangers forward Kyle Lafferty could be set to leave Ibrox this summer.
The Scottish Sun report that the Northern Ireland international has been told by Steven Gerrard that he is not in his plans for 2018/19.
Lafferty is currently holidaying in Canada with family, and will report back to the club this week to discuss his possible exit.
The 2018 signing from Hearts made just 20 appearances in 2018/19, scoring four goals.
Gerrard was convinced to sign the striker for £500,000 after a solid one-season stint at Tynecastle, but the move hasn’t really worked out.
The sizzling form of Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent meant that Lafferty was always going to be feeding off of scraps at Ibrox.
The January arrival of Jermain Defoe certainly made life even more difficult, and with Gerrard ready to make more signings this summer, it is easy to see why he is likely to leave.
Rangers fans react
On the whole, Rangers fans were fairly pleased to read that Lafferty could be leaving with many struggling to find reasons he should stay
Much like his first spell, just not good enough.

I’m one of those who wanted to sign him from Hearts but he’s done next to nothing to merit staying. No great loss.

He basically played no part this season.
