Rangers played out a 0-0 draw with Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership last night. It meant Celtic leapfrogged them into the top spot as they defeated Motherwell 3-0.
It was a tough game for Rangers who, despite taking many benefits from the performance, will be disappointed to miss out on three points.
However, there were positives, including the performance of Croatian defender Borna Barisic.
The left-back put in a solid and impressive display, developing a burgeoning relationship with Eros Grezda down that flank.
Rangers signed Barisic for £2.2 million in the summer. It came after he had impressed for Osijek in a Europa League tie against the Glasgow side.
Steven Gerrard was clearly impressed and brought him to Ibrox.
His start to life at Rangers has been mixed. A calf problem saw him miss two months of action and the Ibrox faithful were not yet convinced.
However, he clearly has the ability to be a star left-back for Rangers and last night he put in one of his best performances yet since heading to Glasgow.
