Rangers suffered a bitter blow to their chances of pipping Celtic to the Scottish Premiership title on Wednesday evening after a 2-1 defeat to Kilmarnock at Rugby Park – and many Gers fans are becoming fed up of star striker Alfredo Morelos.
Morelos, 23, has been in stunning form this season, scoring a huge 29 goals – six more than Celtic’s Odsonne Edouard. But the Colombian is renowned for his lack of discipline and has been sent off on two occasions, and five times last term.
On a number of occasions – and certainly not for the first time – Morelos looked to deceive referee John Beaton and win a penalty for his side by diving in the area. He was booked in the second half, after going down on the right-hand side of the box.

Scott Arfield had given Rangers the lead with an excellent goal from 20 yards out, but late efforts from Stephen O’Donnell and Eamonn Brophy saw Alex Dyer’s side come roaring back. Brophy’s effort was an excellent finish, past Allan McGregor.
Steven Gerrard claimed he would not sell Morelos for £50million in January, after chairman Dave King stated offers of £40million would be rejected. The Scottish Sun quoted Gerrard as saying: “No. And you can add another £10m on as well.”
But he could move in the summer with reports claiming interest from multiple Premier League sides, while interest from France and other European countries has been forthcoming. Some Rangers fans are becoming fed up with the Colombian.
