Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka has taken to Instagram to praise Aaron Ramsdale after the Gunners duo triumphed against Newcastle on Saturday.
Mikel Arteta’s charges made amends for their Premier League defeat last week by running out 2-0 winners over the Magpies at the Emirates.
Following a goalless first half, the Gunners took the lead in the 56th minute when Saka slotted home from Nuno Tavares’ through-ball.

Mikel Arteta’s charges then made it two just ten minutes later, Takehiro Tomiyasu crossing for Gabriel Martinelli to volley home.
Martinelli had replaced Saka moments earlier after the England international suffered a muscular problem and had to come off.
Meanwhile, Ramsdale once again proved a colossus in between the sticks and commanded his area well.
The 23-year-old also made a breathtaking save to deny Jonjo Shelvey – via the bar – when the game was still goalless.
Ramsdale took to Instagram with a picture of a save from the game and the caption “that’s how to bounce back”.
He got plenty of responses, including from Saka and other Arsenal teammates, plus other peers:

Crazy to think how many fans were against Ramsdale’s signing at the start of the season, but he has certainly proven his doubters wrong.
Indeed, football.london believes it “won’t be a surprise if he’s named Arsenal’s player of the season by the time May comes around”.
