Some Newcastle fans vent their anger at club after ticket update

Some Newcastle United fans have been voicing their frustrations after the club’s proposals ahead of the return of fans for the last Premier League game at St James’ Park was revealed.

The Geordies revealed on their website that the eligible supporters are those with long-term season ticket price freeze deals, and those who had valid season tickets at the end of the 2019/2020 season and account credit outstanding.

It was also revealed that the period to sign up for the ballot will run from today at 10 AM to Sunday the 9th at 10 AM with successful candidates being contacted on Tuesday the 11th.

The return of supporters will be the first time fans are inside St James’ Park since the 0-0 draw at home to Burnley, way back in February of last year. However, it doesn’t seem like anything was missed with the club having fought relegation this campaign.
