Newcastle fans are not in the best of moods at the moment.
Rafa Benitez is officially no longer the manager at St. James’ Park after his contract expired on Sunday, and there has seemingly been no progress on the takeover front.

No new players have been signed, and Mike Ashley has never been more unpopular as the club’s owner.
It’s a very testing time for the club’s loyal fanbase, and many of the club’s supporters are understandably a little tetchy.
Their patience was tested to the max on Monday when former Premier League midfielder Danny Murphy put forth a rather left-field suggestion to be the next Newcastle manager.
Speaking on Jim White’s show on talkSPORT, he said: “Newcastle fans might laugh at this suggestion, but he’s currently doing a great job with the England Women’s team and that’s Phil Neville.

“Someone who is young and hungry who has the capability that Phil has, is maybe an option they could go down.
“Phil’s a very bright coach, defensive-minded in some respects, but he also knows how to play from the back.”

However many have slammed Murphy’s bold recommendation, with inexperienced Neville yet to have held a managerial position in the men’s game:
