With Newcastle United on the verge of getting new owners, plenty of Magpies fans are getting excited, and some have taken to Twitter to praise Jamie Reuben with regards to the deal.
Newcastle are in the final stages of a takeover bid, with the club now very close to being bought off Mike Ashley, as was reported by talkSPORT on Wednesday.
PCP Capital Partners, headed by Amanda Staveley, have brokered the £300million deal which is being backed by the Saudi Arabian royal family’s Public Investment Fund.

The Reuben brothers – Simon and David – are prospective backers of Staveley’s bid to buy Newcastle, according to The Chronicle.
David Reuben’s son, Jamie, is on the board of Queens Park Rangers in the Championship.
Ashley and PCP have entered into a binding agreement, with terms agreed last week and a deposit paid, and documentation has been sent to the Premier League.
Newcastle’s prospective new owners are expected to have major ambitions upon arriving at St. James’ Park, so it’s quite an exciting time to be a Magpies fan.
And Jamie Reuben’s tweet, regarding the NHS, saw some Newcastle fans praising him – both for his message and about his family’s role in the potential takeover:
