Manchester City fans have lauded Cole Palmer’s display for Pep Guardiola’s Citizens in the Champions League win over Club Brugge.
The 19-year-old is one of the most highly-rated youngsters graduating from the Etihad ranks in recent years.
Palmer has been part of City’s academy setup for over a decade and is enjoying an amazing breakthrough season.

The midfielder, who recently signed a contract extension to 2026, has already made seven appearances for the senior team.
Palmer netted his first senior goal in the Carabao Cup win over Wycombe in September, and has now got his first Champions League goal.
City ran out 5-1 winners in Bruges, with Joao Cancelo opened the scoring for the visitors on 30 minutes before Riyad Mahrez netted a 43rd-minute penalty for a 2-0 half-time lead.
Kyle Walker added a third in the 53rd minute, before Palmer, who had been on the pitch for just a couple of minutes, made it four with a superb strike.

Racing up the pitch during a counter, he took a touch to control Raheem Sterling’s cross from the left before curling home from just inside the box.
Hans Vanaken grabbed a consolation for Brugge on 81 minutes but Mahrez restored City’s four-goal lead three minutes later.
While all of City’s players impressed, Palmer earned plenty of praise given his talent, quality and potential.
Here’s what some fans said about him on Twitter:
Palmer has become only the third teenager to score in the Champions League for Manchester City after Phil Foden and Kelechi Iheanacho.
Aged 19 years and 166 days, Palmer is also the 10th youngest Englishman to score in the competition.
