Harwood-Bellis is one of City’s top youth prospects and last season spent a part of the campaign on-loan with Championship side Blackburn Rovers.

City have enjoyed success of sending youth players to Anderlecht since Kompany’s appointment as manager.

Lukas Nmecha joined the side last season on loan and was named the club’s Player of the Year. The striker scored 21 goals in all competitions for the Belgian giants.

With Ruben Dias and John Stones forming the Premier League’s best centre-back pairing last season, first-team chances would have been hard for Harwood-Bellis.

Indeed, a loan spell was always going to be the right decision for the youngster. And on social media, lots of City supporters were buzzing to see Harwood-Bellis make the move to Anderlecht.
