Diogo Jota produced a stunning performance for Portugal against Sweden last night, and some Liverpool supporters have demanded he starts against Everton on Saturday.
The 23-year-old was in fine fettle at the Estadio Jose Alvalade, scoring twice and producing an assist in a 3-0 victory for Fernando Santos’ side.
The £45 million winger (BBC Sport) stepped up to the plate, with superstar Cristiano Ronaldo self-isolating at home.

Jota has looked lively in his four outings for Liverpool so far, but his international display against Sweden was nothing short of outstanding.
The former Wolves player was a constant threat from a wide left position, often coming inside making himself very difficult to track.
He was elusive and sharp in equal measure, and he could easily have scored a hat-trick on the night.
His display may well now give Jurgen Klopp some food for thought ahead of a massive game with Everton at the weekend.
Liverpool need to bounce back from their 7-2 humiliation against Aston Villa, and one would imagine there will be some changes to the XI that started at Villa Park.

It remains to be seen if Roberto Firmino will keep his place.
The Brazilian – who cost Liverpool around £29 million back in 2015 (BBC Sport) – bagged twice for his country against Bolivia last week, but for the Reds he is yet to open his account in 2020/21.
Following Jota’s stunning performance and liveliness for Liverpool, some Reds fans on social media called for Klopp to make a bold selection call this weekend:
