Liverpool youngster Rafael Camacho has irked some supporters with his latest post on Instagram.
The Portugal U20 international has spoken out following recent reports (The Sun) he rejected an offer of a new contract due to a lack of game time at Anfield.
Camacho has only made two appearances so far this term for the first-team, one as a substitute in the Premier League and a start against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup earlier this year.
Camacho was played out of position at Molineux, deputising for Trent Alexander-Arnold at right-back.
Taking to Instagram to comment about his current situation after hitting a hat-trick for the U23s, a seemingly defiant Camacho wrote: “I do not know whose idea it is, but I will prove that they are mistaken about my football.
“I’m not a right defender, I’m an attacker who scores goals. This is my DNA. Happy to score 3 goals and help the team in today’s win vs Leicester.”
Camacho appears to hitting back at those who have written him off at Liverpool. Perhaps he is also sending a message to Jurgen Klopp and the coaching staff as if to draw their attention to what he is capable of when deployed in his natural position.

Take it up with the people who can solve it then
Taking it to social media ain’t gonna solve his issue

This looks like a dig at Jürgen Klopp/LFC coaching staff from Rafa Camacho.
Rumours in the last few days that he could leave at the end of the season as contract talks have stalled. This might explain why. pic.twitter.com/19uCZWPhmZ

Poor form. Don’t like seeing this from any LFC player.
