Liverpool are interested in signing Eduardo Camavinga during the summer according to Sport and their supporters have been discussing the rumour on Twitter.

It is thought that Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur are also keen on the 17-year-old who is viewed as one of the brightest young prospects in European football.

Despite his tender years, the central midfielder has been a mainstay in the Rennes team this season, with the club flying high in Ligue 1.

A decent offer could see the French outfit offload their prized asset, however, and several clubs could emerge as potential suitors.

It is thought Rennes value him at £46.2 million and could do business around that price.

Liverpool have been dominant this season and although they were recently knocked out of the Champions League, they are 25 points clear at the summit of the Premier League.

Camavinga has been playing in the defensive midfield role this season but he is also capable of playing in a more advanced position.

The France under-21 international has played 36 times in all competitions during 2019/20, looking every inch a capable player.

Liverpool could see a lot of their fringe players leave in the summer and that could see Jurgen Klopp enter the transfer market.
