Some Liverpool fans react as Origi linked with move to Wolves
Some Liverpool fans were reacting after reports linking Divock Origi with a move to Wolves.
According to Goal, the Reds are ready to cash in on the Belgium international. The Midlanders have held a long-term interest in the player, making a move possible.
Origi endured a tough season with Liverpool last season, featuring just 17 times across all competitions. He scored just once for Jurgen Klopp’s side in the Carabao Cup win over Lincoln City.
The ace has been linked with a move away from Anfield all summer long. A number of clubs are interested including the Turkish Super Lig outfit, Fenerbahce.
TBR View: Origi move would help Liverpool amid Wolves interest
A move to Wolves for Origi would help Liverpool as they look to undertake a shakeup this summer.
The star’s time in the northwest has been marred by inconsistencies in the final third. It’s his flaws which has seen him play a back-up role to starter Roberto Firmino.
With the club needing to make wholesale changes, getting rid of Origi is a necessary change.
The arrival of Diogo Jota and the need for a new second-choice man means the Belgian is no longer required.
