Some Liverpool fans react as Harvey Elliott scores spectacular goal for under-23s

Liverpool under-23s were held to a 2-2 draw by Wolves last night in the Premier League International Cup.

Bruno Jordao gave the hosts the lead after 13 minutes and just after half-time, the lead was doubled by Renat Dadashov.

Liverpool roared back, however, and recent recruit Joe Hardy halved the deficit in the 52nd minute.

Two minutes later Harvey Elliott stole the show, equalising in emphatic fashion.

As a corner was whipped in it looked to be going beyond the reach of the Liverpool youngster.

He leapt in the air and pulled off a remarkable overhead kick to leave supporters speechless.

It was a goal that deserved to win any game of football, although Liverpool were forced to settle for a draw.

Elliott signed for the Reds in the summer. In his maiden campaign, he has played in six first-team matches.

The 16-year-old showed his talent with his latest goal and supporters will hope there is more to come from the youngster.
