Some Liverpool fans have been discussing the possibility of their club signing Lyon duo Nabil Fekir and Memphis Depay, with both likely to move on this summer.

Dutchman Depay appeared to suggest his time with the French club is over by posting a video of him boarding a private jet with the accompanying caption ‘Merci Lyon’ (via The Sun), amid links to Anfield.

Nabil Fekir – a long-running target for Liverpool who almost joined the club last summer – has been told by club president Jean-Michel Aulas he can go before entering the final year of his contract, as reported by The Mirror.

With both players seemingly available, Reds fans couldn’t help but get excited about the possibility of one or both joining the club this summer.

Both had great seasons in 2018/19.

Depay scored 12 goals and made 15 assists, while Fekir bagged 12 times and tabled nine assists.

Liverpool fans react

Many Reds fans said on social media that they would love to see a move for Fekir reignited, and a large number are very open to a move for his teammate Depay, despite his stint at Manchester United a few years ago:
