Some Leicester fans wowed by one player’s display v Burnley, Iheanacho and Schmeichel aside

A number of Leicester City fans have taken to Twitter to praise Youri Tielemans’ display in the Premier League on Wednesday night.

The Foxes played out a 1-1 draw with Burnley, falling behind after just four minutes to a fierce Matej Vydra strike.

However, Leicester drew level in the 34th minute through a superb Kelechi Iheanacho finish, following great work from Wilfred Ndidi.

The latter’s floated ball over Burnley’s defence tempted Nick Pope off his line and Iheanacho swivelled to connect with a wonderful first-time volley for a quality goal.

At the other end, Kasper Schmeichel delivered a masterclass in between the sticks, thwarting numerous good efforts including a seemingly goalbound Chris Wood header.

And in midfield, Tielemans delivered another tireless, all-action display, was at the heart of many of City’s good moves late on, and even hit the woodwork.
