Leicester City midfielder Dennis Praet put in a superb performance for Belgium in their World Cup qualifier on Tuesday night.

The Foxes ace scored his first goal for his nation, getting on the scoresheet as the Red Devils ran out 8-0 winners over Belarus in Leuven.

Hans Vanaken and Leandro Trossard both scored twice, while Praet, Michy Batshuayi, Jeremy Doku and Christian Benteke also found the back of the net.

The Leicester man lined up in a “false 6” position and showcased his incredible work-rate, dynamism and creativity, providing plenty of ammunition for the forwards.

Praet set up Doku for the game’s fourth and scored a neat effort from outside the box, carving some space for himself and letting rip with a low effort.

Plenty of fans were impressed with the £18million man and took to social media to praise his efforts on the night:

The result saw Belgium move top of Group E with seven points from three games.

Praet will now return to Leicester ahead of Saturday’s Premier League meeting with Manchester City at the King Power.
