Some Leeds United fans think Bailey Peacock-Farrell is leaving club this summer

Leeds United’s second-choice keeper has been linked with a move away from the club this summer.

Leeds United took on Tadcaster Albion yesterday evening, with plenty of first-team stars missing due to the pre-season trip to Australia.

However, Leeds still fielded a strong team for the game and the end result was positive. Leeds won 5-1, with Ryan Edmondson’s hat-trick the big talking point from the fixture.

That and the fact Leeds had a trialist between the sticks. The player in question was Max Johnstone. The 20-year-old younger brother of West Brom stopper Sam was released by Sunderland this summer and is now seeking to earn a spot at Leeds.

But it did raise a question among many Leeds fans. Where was Bailey Peacock-Farrell?

The Northern Ireland international was something of a surprise omission from the Australia tour last week. It was expected he would play in this fixture. However, he was not in the squad for the game and Leeds fans think he might be off.

According to The Mirror, Burnley boss Sean Dyche is keen on the Leeds star, with Tom Heaton and Joe Hart set to leave Turf Moor this summer.

Peacock-Farrell has previously spoken of his desire to play regular football, something that is not guaranteed at Elland Road.

Whilst there are some reports about Peacock-Farrell carrying an injury from the recent Guiseley friendly, plenty of fans on twitter think this latest development could mean the end for the Leeds stopper.
