Some Leeds United fans react to Mallik Wilks’ FA Cup display for Doncaster Rovers

Whilst Leeds United may be out of the FA Cup following defeat to QPR yesterday, one Leeds player who has progressed is Mallik Wilks. The talented forward scored one and set up another as Doncaster put Preston North End to the sword at Deepdale.

It came at the end of a busy week for the Leeds youngster.

He extended his loan spell at the Keepmoat Stadium until the end of the season, but not before signing a new deal at Leeds United.

Wilks is now contracted to Elland Road until the summer of 2022, much to the delight of the Leeds fanbase.

Some even called on him to be given a chance at Leeds in the second half of the current campaign, however, Marcelo Bielsa and co must have decided it was best for him to continue his development at Donny.

After his excellent display yesterday, against a Championship side, there is no doubt the raw talent he possesses can be a real threat at this level.
